Common questions.

Working with us

What types of projects do you take on?
We specialise in two areas: AI product development (LLM apps, agents, RAG systems, ML pipelines) and cybersecurity tooling (threat detection, SIEM dashboards, auth systems, compliance tools). We don't take on general-purpose web or mobile projects outside these verticals.
How long does a typical project take?
Our average time from kickoff to first launch is 6 weeks for an MVP. More complex products take 10–16 weeks. We work in sprints with weekly demos so you're always in the loop.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, always. We sign mutual NDAs before any detailed project discussions.
Do you work with startups outside Nigeria?
Yes. We work with founders globally — primarily in Europe, North America, and across Africa. We're fully remote and async-friendly across time zones.
How do I get started?
Fill in the project enquiry form at tinlance.com/contact.php. Tell us what you're building, your budget range, and timeline. We respond to every genuine enquiry within 24 hours.
Can you join our existing team?
Yes — our Technical Co-Building service is designed exactly for this. We embed senior engineers into your team on a monthly retainer basis.
Do you handle the full product lifecycle or just development?
Yes — we cover scoping, architecture, design, build, deployment, and post-launch support. We do not hand off half-finished products.
What is your communication style during a project?
Daily async updates via Slack or email. Weekly live demos. You always know exactly what is built and what is next.
Can I see your code before paying?
We share architecture plans and example work during scoping. Full codebase access comes with project commencement and NDA signing.

Pricing

What does it cost?
Fixed-scope projects typically range from $10K to $80K depending on complexity. Monthly retainers start from $5K/month. For early-stage startups we also offer equity + cash arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer payment in instalments?
Yes. Standard split: 40% upfront, 30% at midpoint milestone, 30% on final delivery.
Do you accept crypto or local Nigerian payment?
Yes. We accept Paystack (card, bank transfer, USSD), Stripe (international card), and bank transfer. Crypto available on request.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Stripe (international debit/credit card), Paystack (card, bank transfer, USSD — Nigeria and Africa), LemonSqueezy (subscription billing), and NOWPayments (USDT and USDC stablecoins). We do not accept volatile crypto — stablecoins only.

ThreatFade

What is ThreatFade?
ThreatFade is our own cybersecurity product — an evasion interception platform that detects C2 quieting, LOTL attacks, and GNSS jamming. It's currently in private beta. Join the waitlist at tinlance.com/threatfade.php.
How is ThreatFade different from Snort or Suricata?
Snort and Suricata rely on signatures. ThreatFade uses statistical z-score analysis — it detects evasion that has no signature, including QUIC C2 and C2 quieting techniques.
Can ThreatFade integrate with my existing SIEM?
Yes. ThreatFade exports in CEF, Splunk HEC, and JSON formats — compatible with Splunk, QRadar, Elastic SIEM, and any syslog-capable platform.
